In 1981, Saga released their album ‘Worlds Apart’. With hits like ‘On The Loose’ and ‘Wind Him Up’ these melodic art rockers had their international breakthrough; today 'Words Apart' is considered a classic. Almost a quarter of a century later, these Canadians performed the entire piece of work live, at full length for the first time – supported by the fans. For the DVD ‘Worlds Apart Revisited’, the show in Pratteln (Switzerland) has been recorded. Check out the track ‘The Interview’ – a captivating song that was rarely played live with motivating beats and a distinctive synthy lick. Here, you can watch a terrific live band in its element, frontman and entertainer Michael Sadler gave his best – and the crowd knew the lyrics by heart.

SAGA nyder for tiden en rigtig god eksponering på Radio io Unlimited. "From the wayback machine we bring out a live recording of SAGA riding their one hit wonder status back into our consciousness. The recording is really effective using the vocals of the audiences singing along at the top of their lungs."

Så dukker SAGA endnu engang op på deres Skandinaviske hjemmebane, nemlig Amager Bio i København. Dette bliver SAGAs femte besøg i den gamle biograf på Amager. Desværre bliver det nok også sidste gang vi får mulighed for at opleve SAGA i København, da forsanger Michael Sadler har annonceret sin afgang fra bandet ved udgangen af 2007. Det bliver dog ikke deres sidste koncert i Danmark, da de spiller dagen efter i Odense på Fyn. Her lægger de med garanti Post1 (udtales Posten) ned. For dem som ikke kender Post1, kan jeg oplyse at det såmænd er det gamle Rytmeposten som er genopstået blot med nyt navn. Billetter er i handlen nu.
